We are a group of Maleny artists who have come together to set up a Gallery Space in an empty shop, to help re-energise the space and sell art in Maleny...
We are a group of Maleny Artists following the philosophy of 'Renew Australia' with new thinking about space, community and creativity to reactivate spaces in local communities.
To do this we use the "Pop-Up" model of taking an otherwise empty shop/office/commercial building for a short term at little or no cost to reinvigorate the space and exhibit our art.
We are showcasing both our work and the property in their best light. The property remains on the market and we move out when it is leased.
This is a simple strategy for temporary and low cost creative activation in a community.
